Responsibilities
- Lead incident response investigations and threat hunting operations
- Manage SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and generate actionable threat intelligence
- Develop and implement network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in threat detection/analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM implementation and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of network security architecture (TCP/IP, routing)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and IAM
- Hands-on incident response handling (IR playbook execution)
