Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Java on AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Terraform
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis for payment processing APIs
- Document architecture decisions in Confluence and technical wikis
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend software development
- Proficiency in Go, Java, or similar compiled languages
- Expertise with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proven track record of shipping production systems at scale
