Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems for SCADA and IoT networks
- Lead incident response for ransomware and APT attacks targeting critical infrastructure
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments in air-gapped environments
- Develop zero-trust architecture solutions for hybrid cloud environments
- Maintain NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks for energy sector clients
- Mentor junior engineers on threat hunting methodologies
- Collaborate with Houston FBI Cyber Task Force on threat intelligence sharing
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in critical infrastructure protection
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required (CISSP preferred)
- Expertise in Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, and CrowdStrike deployments
- Experience with ICS/SCADA security protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Proven track record of responding to major cyber incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
