Responsibilities
- Lead incident response activities for complex security breaches across enterprise networks
- Implement and manage SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate cross-functional security drills
- Monitor emerging threats and provide actionable intelligence to stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Expert required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
