Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and hardware failures to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) to improve efficiency.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy updates and new applications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking.
- Proficiency in managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in an urgent environment.
