Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Diagnose and resolve system outages, performance issues, and security incidents
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Oversee network configurations, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs
- Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
