We are looking for a proactive and technically proficient System Administrator to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers (Windows Server, Linux) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce security policies, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect corporate data.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network devices, including switches, routers, and VPNs.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery drills, and data integrity verification.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and lead root-cause analysis for critical system failures.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux environments (RHEL/CentOS).
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management (IAM).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
