We are seeking a dynamic and experienced System Administrator to join our growing IT team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for the stability, security, and efficiency of our internal infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our technology stack supports our business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based servers (Windows Server and Linux environments).
- Implement and monitor network security protocols, firewalls, and access controls.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and VPNs.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide Level 3 technical support for complex hardware and software issues.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash) to improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of system performance and capacity planning.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell preferred) and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification is highly desirable.
