Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our IT team in Wichita, KS. This is an immediate hire opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As a key member of our technology department, you will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure. You will manage both on-premise servers and cloud resources, supporting our mission-critical applications and ensuring 99.9% uptime.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux server environments.
- Configure and manage network hardware, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Implement and monitor robust security protocols and access controls.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and disaster recovery testing.
- Provide Level 2 technical support to internal users and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and scripting (PowerShell or Bash).
- CompTIA Security+ certification is highly preferred.
