Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and optimize on-premise servers and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce strict security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect organizational data.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and patch management to ensure business continuity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues with minimal downtime.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Monitor system performance metrics and proactively address capacity planning needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with ITIL framework and incident management processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
