Responsibilities
- Server Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based servers (Linux and Windows).
- Network Administration: Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco/Juniper).
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security policies, manage VPNs, and conduct regular security audits to protect sensitive data.
- System Monitoring: Implement monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds) to ensure 99.9% uptime and proactively resolve issues.
- Automation: Develop scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Backup & Recovery: Design and maintain data backup strategies to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Cloud Proficiency: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
