Responsibilities
- Execute high-impact software deployments and maintenance tasks during weekend maintenance windows.
- Monitor system health and proactively troubleshoot technical issues to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with the on-call team to implement security patches and database migrations.
- Conduct code reviews and refactor legacy codebases to improve performance.
- Document technical processes and create runbooks for complex system architectures.
- Optimize backend services and API endpoints to handle increased transaction loads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience (Java, Python, or Go).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively during off-hours.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent debugging skills and a commitment to writing clean, scalable code.
