The Role:
You will serve as the first line of defense, monitoring network traffic, analyzing threat intelligence, and responding to security incidents in real-time. If you have a passion for stopping hackers and a drive for immediate compensation, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).
- Conduct 24/7 surveillance of the network infrastructure to detect potential breaches.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents and vulnerabilities efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden systems.
- Generate detailed reports on security posture and incident trends for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
