We're seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. This is a critical, urgent hire to support our rapidly expanding cloud environment. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, secure systems that power our 24/7 global operations. Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure including VMs, storage, and networking
- Implement and maintain security protocols (firewalls, encryption, access controls)
- Automate deployment and monitoring using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Ensure 99.9% system uptime through proactive monitoring and incident response
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Lead infrastructure upgrades and migrations with zero downtime
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Linux/Windows system administration
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certifications (AWS SysOps, Azure Administrator, or CompTIA Server+)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Proven track record in implementing security best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
