Responsibilities
- Manage & Maintain Infrastructure: Oversee the daily operations of Windows Server, Linux environments, and network hardware to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, manage firewalls, and conduct vulnerability assessments to protect company data.
- System Optimization: Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and proactively troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Cloud Integration: Assist in the management and migration of systems to Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Backup & Recovery: Ensure all data integrity and backup systems are tested and operational for disaster recovery scenarios.
- IT Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal technical support and vendor management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in System Administration or IT Support.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
- Scripting: Solid experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
- Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
