Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of on-premise and cloud-based servers (Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments).
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, including VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Ensure data integrity and implement robust security protocols, including endpoint protection and access controls (Active Directory).
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment pipelines and automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell and Python.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning to support business growth.
- Respond to and resolve critical IT incidents with minimal downtime, acting as the Tier 3 support for complex technical issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or IT Support Engineer.
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DFS.
- Strong command of Linux (RHEL/CentOS) command line and system configuration.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere or Hyper-V).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
