Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and monitor robust security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Oversee daily system backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
- Provide advanced Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Collaborate with network engineers and developers to optimize system performance and scalability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in System Administration or IT Operations.
- Deep technical knowledge of Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve critical issues under pressure.
- CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
