Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers (Windows Server and Linux) as well as hybrid cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
- Implement and monitor security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect organizational data.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network, hardware, and software issues with minimal downtime.
- Automate administrative tasks and system backups using scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations and user support.
- Conduct regular system audits and generate technical documentation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and IP routing.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure, is highly preferred.
- CompTIA Security+, MCSA, or equivalent certifications are a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
