Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Lead enterprise security initiatives including patch management, vulnerability assessments, and compliance auditing
- Optimize system performance using monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios) and capacity planning
- Execute disaster recovery protocols and backup solutions with 99.9% uptime SLA
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Mentor junior administrators and document technical procedures
- Collaborate with network and security teams for integrated solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- CCNA or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Advanced scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Strong troubleshooting background in complex network environments
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
