Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible/Terraform
- Collaborate with network engineers to optimize system performance
- Document procedures and maintain configuration management databases
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux administration
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
