Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments across on-premise and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee backup/recovery solutions and disaster preparedness protocols
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and Terraform
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize system performance
- Document IT infrastructure and maintain configuration management databases
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IP networking
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Certifications in AWS or Azure cloud platforms preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or Zabbix
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedule for production support
