Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, VMware, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee backup/disaster recovery solutions with RTO/RPO compliance
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell/Python
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert-level certification (CompTIA Security+, MCSA, or Linux+)
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Proficiency in virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Python)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds)
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities with complex network environments
