Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers (Linux/Windows) and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive company data.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ansible) to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and ensure seamless integration.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal systems.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent certifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Oakland, CA.
