Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-availability backend services and APIs.
- Execute and monitor automated deployment pipelines during weekend maintenance windows.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects and production issues.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and contribute to architectural documentation.
- Collaborate with the central engineering team to prioritize technical debt reduction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on stability.
- Proficiency in Python or Java.
- Experience with AWS or GCP cloud services.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as a core part of the schedule.
