Responsibilities
- Architect scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
- Lead development of microservices in Python/Java/Go with 99.9% SLAs
- Mentor 3+ engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid, secure deployments
- Contribute 20% time to R&D on emerging technologies
- Collaborate with Product on technical feasibility and roadmap alignment
- Implement observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana) for production systems
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience building distributed systems at scale
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in at least one: Python, Java, or Go
- Proven track record mentoring senior engineers
- CS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Fluency in DevOps practices (Terraform, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
