What You Will Do
Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time system health and performance metrics on the night shift.
- Execute automated and manual code deployments, patches, and maintenance windows.
- Triage and resolve critical incidents that occur outside of standard business hours.
- Collaborate with the day-shift engineering team to document findings and hand off tickets.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot backend latency issues.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and data protection regulations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience working in night shifts or rotating schedules.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems administration and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
