Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs optimized for high availability.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical incidents, and implement proactive maintenance strategies during off-hours.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and write unit tests to ensure code quality and security standards are met.
- Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to streamline deployment pipelines and improve CI/CD workflows.
- Document system architecture, API endpoints, and incident runbooks for the night shift support team.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response procedures to ensure immediate resolution of critical alerts.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Java, Python, C#, or Go.
- Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience working in a rotating or night shift schedule is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to remote teams.
