Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable software solutions specifically for high-availability 24/7 infrastructure.
- Debug and resolve complex system issues with high urgency during off-peak hours.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and perform performance optimization to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with the day-shift engineering team to synchronize deployments and maintenance windows.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in compliance with our internal standards.
- Monitor system health and proactively implement security patches and updates.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java, with a focus on backend systems.
- Deep understanding of database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Willingness and ability to work rotating night shifts (7 PM - 4 AM or similar).
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
