Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-performance backend services for real-time security monitoring systems
- Collaborate with global teams to resolve critical incidents during off-hours
- Optimize database queries and API performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Implement automated CI/CD pipelines for night shift deployments
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on rotational basis
- Document system architecture and create technical runbooks for night shift protocols
- Participate in agile ceremonies during handover periods with day teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python/Go
- Expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Previous experience in security-focused software development
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure, CISSP) preferred
