Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java/Python and cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, secure applications for federal clients
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to ensure code quality
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with legacy systems following FedRAMP guidelines
- Drive DevOps practices including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Conduct threat modeling and security assessments for all deliverables
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with Java or Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST)
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
