Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and DevOps practices for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design sessions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the engineering organization
- Optimize system performance and scalability through advanced profiling and monitoring
- Drive innovation through quarterly hackathons and emerging technology exploration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (8+ years)
- Expertise in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with Jira and Confluence
- Excellent problem-solving skills with algorithmic thinking
- Portfolio demonstrating full-stack project implementations
