Responsibilities:

- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and Wazuh.
- Conduct thorough investigations into potential breaches and malicious activities.
- Implement and maintain security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing efforts.
- Manage compliance reporting (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and security audits.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required (CISSP preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in SOC operations or Threat Intelligence.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with Splunk, Wazuh, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Deep understanding of network protocols and security architectures.
