Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in systems.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts during security breaches, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Monitor security systems and SIEM dashboards to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and NIST frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles.
- Certification: CISSP, CISM, or CEH is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, Snort, Wireshark, and Metasploit.
