Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure architecture design and deployment.
- Manage endpoint security solutions and enforce security protocols across all devices.
- Lead security awareness training and phishing simulations for employees.
- Prepare for and conduct external and internal security audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience in information security, incident response, or network defense.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Hands-on experience with firewall management, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple security incidents simultaneously.
