Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and quantify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026+
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and trend impact matrices
- Translate future insights into actionable roadmaps for product development, market expansion, and innovation pipelines
- Present executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on future-state implications and strategic imperatives
- Establish cross-functional futures councils to embed foresight into organizational decision-making
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on disruptive trends and adaptive strategies
- Quantify future opportunity spaces through market modeling and risk-reward scenario analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futures research with demonstrable impact on organizational planning
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field required
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with data visualization expertise
- Experience presenting complex future concepts to executive audiences and board members
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Published thought leader in futures or strategy publications preferred
