Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate complex datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality and integrity for analysis.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform statistical analysis and modeling to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business strategy.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and translate business questions into analytical models.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical processes to ensure knowledge transfer and reproducibility.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to forecast market trends and assist in long-term strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Visualization: Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and propose effective, scalable solutions.
