Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Architecture: Design and maintain robust data pipelines and warehousing solutions to ensure data integrity and accessibility across the organization.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast trends and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Visualization: Develop compelling, interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize complex datasets for non-technical stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and government clients to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous data cleaning and validation protocols to eliminate errors and ensure high-quality reporting.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and data dictionaries to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the public sector or a government contracting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Tools: Advanced knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal presentations for diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues and propose innovative solutions.
