Apex Analytics Solutions is looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team in Milwaukee. While our office is based in Milwaukee, WI, this is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States.
In this role, you will drive data-driven decision-making across the organization, bridging the gap between complex data sets and executive strategy. You will own our reporting infrastructure and mentor junior analysts, ensuring our analytics practice remains at the forefront of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis on complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Dashboard & Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
- SQL & Data Engineering: Write efficient SQL queries and scripts to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources.
- Statistical Modeling: Build predictive models and perform regression analysis to forecast business metrics and support long-term planning.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance) to define KPIs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports that summarize findings and drive strategic discussions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a remote or hybrid capacity.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Visualization: Expert level experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and compelling stories for non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with cloud data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift) is a plus.
