Pacific Coast Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Long Beach team. Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale operational datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) to provide real-time visibility into night shift performance.
- Collaborate with the operations team to troubleshoot data discrepancies and address immediate reporting needs.
- Write optimized SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, clean, and transform data for analysis.
- Develop comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all night shift reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or retail.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel.
- Experience creating visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI.
- Must be willing and available to work a Night Shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) schedule.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
