Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and Python for real-time vessel tracking systems
- Optimize container orchestration workflows on AWS EKS with Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using GitLab CI and Terraform
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical specifications for maritime IoT solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural design sessions
- Conduct performance tuning and scalability improvements for high-traffic APIs
- Implement robust security protocols for maritime data transmission systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Proven track record building RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Strong background in database design (PostgreSQL, Redis) and caching strategies
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design and delivery
- Maritime or logistics industry experience preferred
