Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Advanced SQL Querying: Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to retrieve specific data sets for reporting.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize performance metrics.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify market trends, customer behaviors, and operational inefficiencies.
- Statistical Modeling: Utilize statistical techniques to forecast future trends and support business planning.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Present findings to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders in a compelling narrative format.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert level in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI software.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical jargon into business value for diverse audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data accuracy and quality assurance.
