Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Visual Analytics: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize complex data for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact business performance.
- SQL Management: Write complex SQL queries and scripts to extract specific data subsets and manage database structures.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations that translate technical findings into clear business recommendations for executive leadership.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to recommend data-driven solutions for operational efficiency.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to assist in budgeting and strategic planning for the upcoming fiscal year.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of Tableau or Power BI.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
