In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex data and strategic decision-making. You will own our data infrastructure, design sophisticated dashboards, and collaborate directly with leadership to solve our toughest business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Advanced SQL & Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Visualization Mastery: Create interactive, high-impact dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive executive reporting.
- Deep Analytics: Conduct rigorous statistical analysis and A/B testing to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Operations) to define data requirements and translate analytical findings into actionable business insights.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of our data assets.
- Automated Reporting: Develop automated ETL processes to streamline data pipelines and reduce manual reporting errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related data role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift) and Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Tools: Experience with data warehousing, ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, Talend), and version control (Git).
