Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that influence business outcomes.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- SQL & ETL: Write complex SQL queries and manage ETL processes to extract and transform data efficiently.
- Strategic Recommendations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-backed recommendations for strategic planning and process improvement.
- Project Management: Lead data analysis projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timelines are met and objectives are achieved.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the technology or finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Excel: Advanced knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) is mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
