Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures across cloud and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response operations for sophisticated cyber threats
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop security automation using Python and SIEM tools
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS regulations
- Mentor junior security engineers and document security protocols
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ in leadership roles
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network defense
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong programming skills (Python, Bash) for security automation
- Experience with threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Active NY security clearance preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
