Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM and EDR tools to identify potential threats.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and cyber intrusions.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network security controls and firewalls.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into development and operations.
- Generate and present detailed security reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC Analysis, or related fields.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting complex findings.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, immediate-hire environment.
