Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a multi-layered security architecture across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts within the SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) system.
- Conduct thorough penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews to identify weaknesses before they are exploited.
- Oversee the incident response process, conducting forensic investigations and coordinating recovery efforts for security breaches.
- Develop and enforce security policies, compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST), and security awareness training programs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in security tools and technologies including Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, and Palo Alto Networks.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and threat hunting.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
