Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or Elastic).
- Conduct thorough post-incident forensic analysis to identify root causes and mitigate future breaches.
- Oversee vulnerability management programs and coordinate penetration testing schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
- Develop and maintain automated security scripts (Python/Bash) to enhance detection capabilities.
- Collaborate with IT operations to implement secure network configurations and firewall rules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a SOC, Security Operations, or InfoSec role.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for security automation.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
