Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and respond to incidents 24/7.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security controls and firewalls to protect against cyberattacks.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Manage and patch vulnerabilities in the network infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Develop and maintain security documentation and playbooks for incident response.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a similar role.
- Valid certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or Security+.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
