Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust solutions
- Lead incident response operations, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and breach remediation
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for cloud and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives across the organization
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in architecting enterprise security solutions
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required (CEH, GSEC acceptable)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and security automation tools
- Demonstrated experience with threat intelligence platforms and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong background in network security (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and encryption technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to thrive under pressure during security incidents
